Helpflix was a project developed for UNICEF with the goal of driving donations through a creative strategy that leveraged the narrative and visual languages of major entertainment platforms such as Netflix, HBO, and Disney.

Building on the strong emotional connection and cultural familiarity these brands have with audiences, the project reinterpreted their storytelling codes—serial narratives, fictional universes, character development, trailers, and teaser formats—to transform social causes into compelling stories that capture attention, build empathy, and inspire action.

Helpflix turned the act of donating into a relatable and emotionally engaging experience, using widely recognized cultural references to bring children’s issues closer to new audiences. The strategy broke away from traditional nonprofit communication models, demonstrating that entertainment, when used with purpose, can become a powerful tool for social impact and fundraising.
